Twenty Seventeen is almost over.

It feels like I was just downtown drinking champagne celebrating the new year, and now the time has come again to prepare for that moment. It has been a hell of a year for me, and everyone else in the world.

I am 24 now. When I started my first blog ever, I was a mere 18 and everyone thought I was 23\24. Now I'm getting close to 30 and I'm pretty excited. Is it normal to be excited to get older?
I feel like 30 is a great age.

I made a bucket list when I was 21 , and I've completed probably 3 things from that list, which was 1. Get married , 2. Move into my own place, and 3. Get a better job. The rest have been forgotten or put on the back burner until further notice. This years big goal was to become more financially stable and I am proud to say we have, and I can comfortably spend money if I want to. I'm hoping to start a very exciting and costly process towards the end of December, but you'll have to wait for that if you're curious.

I have decorated the apartment (after three years of living in it). You know you think once you move out your place is gonna look like a pinterest board but in reality you start out with what people give you, little things you buy here and there and then it finally blossoms into a home. As you can see from the picture above, I am very much excited for fall. I literally went to the store and decorated my living room the first day of September. I'm learning to appreciate stores like TJ Maxx and Dollar tree. You can make your house look like a magazine spread for the low low, don't be confused.

Work is work. Lets keep it there.

I hope to finish school here in the next year or two. Once finished I am thinking of going for a MFA. Whats two more years to get another piece of paper that helps me get a little more money you know?

In all, I'm alive and well. Everything is flowing for now, and I won't complain.

Your place looks so comfy and cozy. My mom used to tell me that once you get your own place, you never ever finish decorating it. There's always some piece that you see that you need to add to this room and that room. Even before my home flooded and we had to renovate it, I had been here a year and wasn't done with the decor. But home interiors are my happy place so I'm always willing to take on a new project.

Kudos for being close to finish your degree girl. And if you were to ask me, I'd definitely encourage you to go back but that's because I'm a lifelong learner. LOL!

    1. My dad tells me that I am going to finally finish decorating and then we'll end up moving a few months later lol.
